Sarah Stanchin has been hired as our new Tennis Professional,
taking over for Professional Eric Mahone who left for a new job in Cincinnati, Ohio. 
Sarah is a certified professional and comes to Morris Park with an impressive resume.  Sarah has been the Junior Tennis Director at Knollwood Country Club for the past 8 years and a Tennis Professional at the South Bend Racquet Club since 1999.  Prior to that, she was a Tennis Professional at Leeper Park in South Bend from 1988-1999, and the Assistant Director of Tennis there in 1998-1999.  She is currently the Head Tennis Coach for both the boys (since 2007) and girls teams at Marian High School (since 2006), where she was awarded the Northern Indiana Conference Boys Tennis Coach of the Year in 2007.   Her other qualifications and accolades include an Adult USTA Rating of 5.0, a Prince High School All-American (1991), she was undefeated in 4 years of Northern Indiana Conference play and had a 93-4 career record at LaSalle High School.  Sarah attended Western Michigan on a full athletic scholarship from 1991-1992 and finished her career and education at Bethel College.   Sarah enjoys working with all ages and skill levels.  She begins May 11, and is very eager to start her own programs for the Membership.  Please take a moment to welcome her the next time you are at the courts.  She will be available to discuss the new tennis programs at the Summer Sports Sign-up Night on Tuesday, May 20.
