Becky Bonhama
Club Accountant

Becky’s been with Morris Park Country Club since 1988. Starting out as the Assistant Club Manager under the tutelage of European born and bred Luis Leal, Club Manager, she worked from 1988-1996 spending the majority of her time coordinating club banquets/events, working round the clock and getting to know the ins and out of country club life. In 1996, she transferred into the accounting office as a result of her marriage to “Plumber Dave”, who insisted she “have a life” and “stop working nights, weekends and holidays” so they could spend more time together…She whole-heartedly agreed with his vision and happily demoted herself to the office assistant working only 4 days a week and reveled in her newly found private life. After a year of punching the clock, she was then promoted to Club Accountant when longtime employee, Marion DenOtter, decided to retire.  For the past twelve years, Becky’s been “counting beans” for the club, enjoying working her “banker’s hours” and looks to be with us forever…

Becky graduated from Clay High School in 1980 whereupon she attended Saint Mary’s College for one year as a math major. She then transferred to Purdue University and received a bachelor’s degree in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management, Business Option in 1984. She graduated on the Dean’s List and was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, the Treasurer of Eta Sigma Delta (International Hospitality Management Society, Purdue Chapter), and spent time as a professional musician (piano soloist and accompanist) throughout her teenage years.

After graduation, she worked at the Ramada Inn of South Bend, working in reservations for a couple years and then as the Dining Room Manager. She came to Morris Park in 1988 at the ripe old age of 25 has been a loyal employee ever since…

She’s been married to Dave for over 12 years and is the proud aunt/great aunt to twenty-four nieces and nephews and the extremely proud parent of three “canine children” (a.k.a. “her babies” sans the epidural). She’s an avid Notre Dame football fan, so don’t be surprised to hear a frog-like voice over the phone on Mondays following the games.

Cathy Kujawa
Office Manager

Cathy has been with Morris Park since 1995.  She started as a dining room server and gladly gave up the split shifts and weekends in 1999 to work “normal” hours in the office.

She is a 1985 graduate of Niles Senior High School (Michigan) and Twin City Beauty College.  After graduation she worked in the hair salon industry and then tried her hand as a waitress at Elias Brothers/Big Boy in Niles, where she worked her way up to Dining Room Manager. The restaurant was on the verge of closing and her position ended.  Shortly thereafter, while working at a small restaurant in Granger she noticed the ad in the newspaper that Morris Park was hiring.  After an interview with Club Manager Luis Leal she was hired and has been with us since.

She is married (almost 4 years) with two step-children (Lyndsey & Dillon), a dog and is aunt to two nieces and a nephew.  An avid snowmobilier, Michigan fan and pool player (who plays locally and on a regional pool tour), Cathy resides in Niles, Michigan.
